The Shore Thing at Lani Kai is a fully remodeled 2-bedroom, 2-bath Gulf Shores condo on the second floor of the Lani Kai complex, which sits across the street from the beach. Modern kitchen with full-size appliances and quartz countertops, in-unit washer and dryer, smart TV with streaming, WiFi for normal trip planning and streaming, and a private balcony.
We keep the place stocked the way we'd want it if we were staying here ourselves: dish soap, laundry pods, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. You shouldn't have to make a grocery run for basics on your first night of vacation.
Two pools on-site — a family pool and a separate adults-only pool. The adult pool is genuinely rare for a 2-bedroom condo in Gulf Shores; if you're a couple wanting a quiet swim, or parents wanting 30 peaceful minutes after the kids crash, you'll appreciate it.
Lani Kai is a smaller, quieter complex — no 20-story tower, no elevator waits, no long hallways. The complex is undergoing its own renovation, so the common areas and grounds are getting better all the time.

"The condo was clean the kitchen had all the needed equipment the living room had a recliner with heat and massage which was perfect for my back The bed was comfortable in the master and the other bedroom had a bunk bed with a queen and a twin it also had a couch that made a bed in that room The thing I didn’t like was not about the condo it was that construction was going on at the property so they had lots of materials laying around and it was very noisy early in the morning so no sleeping in but the unit itself was great no complaints there"Guest · May 2026 · Booking

The bedroom with bunk beds does not have a ceiling fan so if you are hit natured make sure you bring a portable fan. And the unit is on the second floor so you do have to climb two sets of stairs. "I’m still a bit blown away by how very beautiful and clean this condo was. It was exactly like the pictures that were posted. David was so wonderful to deal with, so much so that I plan to stay here every single year for summer and spring break. I can only describe the house in one word. PERFECT!! I didn’t need to drive anywhere, everything was walking distance. Two beautiful pools and that beautiful kitchen. Everything was fully stocked. We felt safe and right at home.
